The European Commission has extended its antitrust review of Marel Food Systems hf. bid to acquire Stork Food Systems to April 21, 2008. The extension is not triggered by antitrust concerns but is due to the fact that certain technical information has to be updated. The extension will not cause any adverse affect on the agreement between Marel Food Systems and Stork N.V.
