STRATEC Board of Management plans to increase dividend by 47%

Birkenfeld, March 18, 2008

The Board of Management of STRATEC Biomedical Systems AG has compiled the
annual financial statements for the 2007 financial year. In view of the
very strong earnings performance of the STRATEC Group in 2007 and in the
expectation that the business will continue to perform positively, the
Board of Management will propose in the profit appropriation proposal which
it submits to the Supervisory Board that the dividend for the 2007
financial year be increased by 47% to Euro 0.22 per share (previous year:
Euro 0.15).
