Superconductor Technologies Inc. Exhibits At CTIA WIRELESS 2008


SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 19, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Superconductor Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:SCON) ("STI"), a leading provider of high performance infrastructure products for wireless voice and data applications, will show its products at booth number 6565 at CTIA WIRELESS 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 1st to 3rd.

STI will feature solutions for the world's evolving spectrum map, such as the SuperLink(r) TD-SCDMA product, which was developed for BSTI, its joint venture in China. In addition, STI will show a live SuperLink(r) demonstration. SuperLink(r) is a high performance cryogenic receiver front-end that combines a specialized filter using patented high-temperature superconductor (HTS) technology with a proprietary cryogenic cooler and a low-noise amplifier to deliver both high selectivity and high sensitivity.

The company will exhibit from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 1st and 2nd, and from 10:30 am until 3:00 pm on Thursday, April 3rd.
