NCC to remodel Malmö Central Station for SEK 245 million

NCC Construction Sweden has been commissioned by Jernhusen to remodel Malmö
Central Station to adapt it to the Citytunnel's new underground platforms. The
order value amounts to approximately SEK 245 million. Work will commence in
August 2008 and is scheduled for completion in September 2010.

The project includes a new glass hall, a new indoor car park with room for 420
cars and connections between these two buildings.

The glass hall will be built to handle the large flows of passengers expected in
connection with the construction of the Citytunnel's new underground station by
Malmö Central Station.

“The Citytunnel's new platforms are being constructed to the north of the
existing Malmö Central Station and will end up outside the current station area.
The glass hall will connect the new station with Malmö Central Station,” says
Torsten Erlandsson, Business Manager at NCC Construction's Southern Region.

The agreement is what is known as a cooperation agreement, which entails that
NCC and Jernhusen will engage in an advanced degree of cooperation throughout
the various phases of the project.

The project is scheduled for completion in September 2010.

The contract will be registered among orders during the second quarter of 2008.
