ViaTech Systems Wins With GSA and Launches New Website

MCLEAN, Va., March 25, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- ViaTech Systems, Inc. (ViaTech), a McLean, Virginia-based IT services and management consulting solutions provider supporting the Federal government, announced today that it was recently awarded two indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts by the General Services Administration (GSA). The contracts are, respectively, GSA Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) and GSA Alliant Small Business.

ViaTech's GSA MOBIS contract award is under the functional categories for consulting, program management, and program integration services. GSA uses the MOBIS IDIQ to facilitate the Federal government's response to a continuous stream of new mandates and evolutionary influences including the President's Management Agenda; Government Performance and Results Act; Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act; and government reinvention initiatives, such as benchmarking and streamlining.

ViaTech's GSA Alliant Small Business contract award is one of sixty-two (62) awarded by GSA in a much-awaited procurement. Alliant Small Business is the first small business set-aside Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) awarded by GSA as a centralized source of acquiring integrated and worldwide information technology (IT) solutions. The contract's reported value is $15 billion and has a five-year base period with one five-year option.

"I am enthusiastic about these recent wins and expanding the spectrum of services and capabilities we provide to our customers," said ViaTech System's president and founder, Mr. Victor Kan.

ViaTech Systems also recently launched their new website at http://www.viatech-systems.net.
