Xlibris Releases Lessons -- New Book Tells an Inspiring Story of Taking Your Chances On a Dream

GREENWOOD LAKE, N.Y., March 28, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- A young gang member and a high school dropout faces the dilemma of quitting his gang to develop his writing talent. Follow Greg's account as he struggles to pursue a dream he once thought of giving up in Lessons: Greg's Story, by author Dennis J. Anthony.

In the story of Lessons, Greg bumps into his former English teacher, who encourages him to continue his writings. As he forms a bond with his teacher, he decides to quit his gang to focus on becoming an accomplished writer. However, he gets shot by the gang leader for his decision to do so. Greg survives, and with the encouragement from people around him, manages to finish high school and college, becoming the successful author he wanted to be.

Everyone has dreams. What has been done with them is another story. The book teaches us that we should never give up on our dreams. Although, at times, the road to success may be filled with adversity, our dreams are not unattainable. In chasing our dreams we may sacrifice a lot, but once we've accomplished what we have set out to do, we realize that it was worth everything and much more than what we gave up for it. Greg's story will surely inspire readers and motivate them to pursue their own dreams.
