AS Linnaehitus, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AS Eesti Ehitus, and SA Teaduskeskus AHHAA (Science Centre AHHAA Foundation) have signed a contract for the design and construction of a building for the science centre. The contract will be performed from March 2008 until August 2010. The cost of the contract is 179.1 million Estonian kroons (11.4 million euros) excluding VAT 18%. The execution of the contract is subject to the provision of a government grant (state financing). According to the best available information, the provision of the grant will be decided in May 2008. In the event of a negative decision, the parties may cancel the contract by paying for the services delivered until the date of cancellation. According to estimates, the services performed by AS Linnaehitus (mainly design services) during the period March 2008-May 2008 will cost up to 5 million Estonian kroons (0.3 million euros).
