TALENTUM OYJ RELEASE 28 March 2008 at 1.45 pm TALENTUM SELLS ITS HOLDING IN FILMITEOLLISUUS FINE Through an MBO deal made today, Talentum sold its 59.32% holding in Oy Filmiteollisuus Fine Ab to Yellow Film & TV Oy, which is owned by the executive management of Oy Filmiteollisuus Fine Ab. Filmiteollisuus Fine productions include the TV series Suojelijat, Jopet Show, Pasila, Itse valtiaat, Ennätystehdas and Se On Siinä and the film Ganes, which is about the rock group The Hurriganes. This year's premiere movies are Käsky, directed by Aku Louhimies, and Blackout, directed by Jp Siili. Earlier this year, Talentum sold a major part of its TV content production. The present deal is in keeping with Talentum's strategic decision to focus on publishing for professional target groups. The net sales of the Oy Filmiteollisuus Fine Ab Group came to EUR 6.75 million in 2007 and the Group employed a total of 23 people. The profit for the January-March period will be included in Talentum Group's 2008 financial performance. The sales price will not be divulged. The deal will have no significant impact on Talentum's 2008 financial performance or position.
