Cramo Plc Investor news 1 April 2008, at 1.00 pm Finnish time (GMT+2) CRAMO ACQUIRES LOCAL RENTAL COMPANY IN SWEDEN Cramo Sverige AB, the Swedish wholly-owned subsidiary of Cramo Plc, has acquired the entire share capital of Hyrmaskiner i Bollnäs AB, an equipment rental company operating under the "Tidermans" trade mark. Hyrmaskiner i Bollnäs AB is mainly focused on the rental of building machinery, but the company also offers aerial equipment, compact construction machinery, scaffoldings and site huts, from its rental depot in Bollnäs in the middle part of Sweden. Its customers are primarily small and mid-sized local construction companies. The annual turnover approximates EUR 1.1 million. The acquired operation will be integrated with the Cramo operations, under the Cramo brand. All personnel have been offered to maintain their employment and the company's managing director has committed to stay in the operation for a minimum period of three years. Cramo is Sweden's largest equipment rental company with over 100 depots in Sweden, including nine in the central part of the Norrland region. "So far we have not had our own depot in Bollnäs. The acquisition is thus an important step in strengthening our local position, and at the same time the service level towards our larger customers in the entire district", says Stefan Brink, District Manager, for the central parts of the Norrland region. "The capacity to offer customers in all parts of Sweden a full range of rental products and services is Cramo's competitive strength", says Magnus Rosén, manager for Cramo's Swedish operations. "Without too much of an exaggeration you could say that we are located in every community with 20,000 or more inhabitants which is a unique position."
