Release of a Voting Rights announcement

UBS AG, Zürich, Schweiz, informed us, that on 26.03.2008 its voting rights
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG on SolarWorld AG, Bonn,
Deutschland, ISIN: DE0005108401, have fallen below the 3% limit and now
amount to 2.96% (this corresponds to 3310406 voting rights).

According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 0.41%
(this corresponds to 452536 voting rights) is to be attributed to the UBS
AG.
