Peab acquires Hälsinge Bygg in Hudiksvall Peab has acquired all the shares in Hälsinge Bygg in Hudiksvall. The company has 45 employees and turnover in 2007 was SEK 70 million. Hälsinge Bygg is a traditional construction company focused on construction work and smaller jobs and it will continue to operate under its own brand name. Now that Peab owns the company it will be able to take on larger commissions and further develop its personnel. Hälsinge Bygg is well positioned in Hälsingland and in 2007 the Swedish daily newspaper, Dagens Industri, named it a Sweden's Gazelle Company. The transfer of ownership will take place on 1 July 2008. Part of the purchase price will be paid in the form of Peab shares which Peab will divest through a transfer mandate of its own shares, decided upon by the Annual General Meeting.
