NCC leased out a total of 20,000 square meters in first quarter of 2008

NCC Property Development concluded 25 leasing contracts comprising slightly more
than 20,000 square meters of commercial floor space during the first quarter of
2008. A number of leases had a positive impact on NCC's first-quarter earnings,
since they enabled the reversal of provisions for issued rental guarantees and,
in certain cases, generated supplementary purchase considerations. 

NCC Property Development develops commercial properties, primarily in the office
segment but also in the retail and logistics segments. During the first quarter
of 2008, office projects representing a total of slightly more than 20,000
square meters of space were leased. Finland accounted for approximately 34
percent of the leased space, Sweden for 33 percent, Denmark for 19 percent and
Norway for 14 percent.

- We had a good first quarter of 2008, and we are currently engaged in many
discussions regarding new leasing, says Peter Wågström, President of NCC
Property Development, commenting on the results.
