At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of COREALCREDIT BANK AG
conclusively approved the financial statements for 2007. With a positive
result for the year amounting to EUR 3.3m the Bank returned to the profit
zone in 2007. The loss brought forward from 2006 and the net profit for
2007 resulted in a reduced attributable net loss of EUR 792.1m, after
taking into account the replenishment of several profit participation
rights (EUR 1.0m) and the Bank's recourse to a number of silent
participations (EUR 18.3 m) and the other profit participation rights (EUR
44.0 m).

The volume of new loan commitments totalled EUR 903.0m, which was slightly
better than forecasted (2007: EUR 750.0m). The Bank posted EUR 1.3bn in new
business including extensions amounting to EUR 410.9m.

In 2008 COREALCREDIT BANK AG will consolidate and expand its position in
the market. The Bank will intensify its activities in acquiring new
business as far as the uncertainties in the markets allow and has set a new
business target of EUR 1.5bn for 2008. The range of advisory services
offered to continue meeting our clients’ needs for high-quality, quick,
flexible and individualised financing solutions will be expanded. In
consideration of this efforts the Bank expects to generate further
improvements in results for the bank.
