About the Author

Verl D. Wheeler is currently semiretired after working in the broadcast industry for over fifty years. His radio career included every phase of broadcasting-DJ, sports play-by-play, commercial writing and production, sales, station management in small and major markets, from Seattle to Cincinnati. He is now CEO/president of his family-owned broadcast company located in Eastern Washington. The company includes two FM radio stations, two FM translators, and one AM radio station. His son, Mark, manages the company. This is the author's second book but first novel. His first book was Broadcast Sales Success. It was used by several universities as a textbook and many radio stations throughout the United States as a training guide for salespeople. He currently resides in either Kirkland, Washington, a suburb of Seattle or in Grand Coulee, Washington, where his golf cart is parked.
