Read Letters In Blood -- First Adventure in This New Mystery Series Tells the Action Story of a Hardboiled Cop Trying to Save His Niece From Kidnappers in Jamaica

WHITING, N.J., April 16, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Author Gerald Arthur Winter thrills readers with Tom Larkin's action-packed conflict as a DEA agent falling in league with a Caribbean enchantress who lures him to the dark side against the authorities of three nations, all in pursuit of 17th century letters that could free his niece, but in the wrong hands, would alter the balance of power and wealth in global finance.

"Larkin paid 60 Gs for his casket -- a red Porsche with its dash lit
like a jet's cockpit. He hydroplaned on Manhattan's FDR Drive through
sheets of pouring rain and minimal visibility. Concealed potholes
rattled the fine suspension of his German-made wet dream. His greater
problem -- DUI, something they had counted on. Drugging his last drink to
raise the tempo of the dirge, his enemies wanted him gone, stateside or
overseas, no matter what. They expected to find Larkin behind the wheel
after he hit the muddy bottom of the East River."
