Opus focus on emission control in China

2008-04-16

- New Sales and Marketing Director to analyze market for vehicle control
systems.

Following the acquisition of former American partner Sys Tech International,
Opus Prodox AB (publ) now increases their presence in the Chinese and Asian
markets. Opus has appointed a Sales and Marketing Director to analyse the
markets and develop sales of environmental control instruments for vehicles in
China.

Opus is an industrial high-tech manufacturer of equipment for environmental-
and safety test of vehicles. The group is selling to more than 50 countries all
over the world. The company has now appointed Anders Andersson - with broad
experience of the Asian markets - to manage Opus subsidiary Opus Asia Ltd, in
order to focus on the Asian markets, particularly China.

- The timing of Opus growth and increased presence in China is perfect. The
growth of the Chinese economy is putting more vehicles on the roads. This
together with increased efforts from government to control emission is
increasing the demand for ways to monitor and control vehicle emissions. The
need for new emission analyzers and vehicle testing equipment is increasing and
the Opus group has a very competitive product portfolio to meet these needs
from the market, says Anders Andersson, Marketing and Sales Director in Opus
Asia Ltd.

Anders Andersson has a practiacal background in Chinese owned manufacturing
companies working across the Asian markets. Anders will analyze the markets
across the APAC region and China and then build and develop the sales
operations. He will also work closely together with the management of Opus
factory in Foshan, China where equipment specially designed for the Asian
markets will be manufactured.

Opus recently acquired Sys Tech International and the group has gained, through
the acquisition a very strong international position with ability to deliver
complete solutions for setting up vehicle test stations in individual provinces
or whole countries.

- After the acquisition of Sys Tech International we have a much stronger
position globally and it is a natural step for the group to now increase our
presence in the Asian markets. Regulations and market needs vary among the
different countries and even provinces. Anders is a key person in the groups'
work to analyze the market and build a strong organization in Asia, especially
China, says Magnus Greko, CEO of the Opus Group.

Opus Asia Ltd. is located in Hong Kong and Opus Chinese factory is located in
Foshan, Guangdong Province, PRC.
