Advantage Bank Goes GREEN by Hosting Its Second Community Shred and Protect Day

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio, April 17, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Advantage Bank goes green as they partner with Iron Mountain to host their second Community Shred and Protect Day on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 9am to 12pm at Advantage Bank locations throughout Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. Advantage Bank is not only going green; they're taking the stress of tax season off their shoulders. All participating customers can sit down with a professional therapist for a free neck and shoulder massage at the shredding event. They can also enter to win a free massage at a local day spa. Businesses will also be able to enter a drawing for a free 3 hour massage session for their employees. The Community Shred and Protect Day will relieve stress and give people the opportunity to dispose of old statements and paperwork safely, while also learning more about Advantage Bank's safe and convenient banking services and products. Advantage Bank feels a Community Shred and Protect Day is a great way to educate residents on how to prevent identity theft, the fastest growing consumer fraud. All consumers should consider shredding unneeded material that contains their social security number, account numbers, medical information, financial records or other personal information.

This event is open to the public, and there's no fee to bring materials for shredding. Customers will receive a work flow card that describes the secure process used to handle the customers' materials. The following Advantage Bank offices will have an Iron Mountain truck available in their parking lot from 9am - 12pm, on April 19th: in Ohio - North 11th Street in Cambridge, 547 South James Street in Dover, 226 Third Street in Marietta, 1050 Washington Avenue in Washington Court House, 1104 Eagleton Center in London, 1 North Plum Street in Germantown, 3002 Harrison Avenue in Cincinnati; in Northern Kentucky - Fort Mitchell's office at 2497 Dixie Highway, and the Florence office at 7550 Dixie Highway; and in West Virginia - the Vienna office at 1500 Grand Central Avenue.

Advantage Bank is proud to be green every day, because they discard the bank's paper for safe and secure shredding on a regular basis thus creating valuable pulp for recycling.
