- Alfesca sells Christiansen Partner, the Norwegian fish trading business

Alfesca has sold the Norwegian fish trading company Christiansen Partner AS to
CP Holding AS, a company controlled by John Synnes, the Managing Director of
Christiansen Partner.

Following the divestment, Alfesca will have no further interest in the fish
trading business, in line with its strategy to be focussed on the production
and marketing of value added products.

The results of Christiansen Partner will be categorised as discontinued
operations in the financial statements of Alfesca for the financial year ending
June 2008. The total sales of Christiansen Partner amounted to €25.4 million
for the 2006/07 financial year. The book value of the gross assets of the
Company being sold was €2.5 million, as at 31 December 2007. The divestment is
expected to have a small but positive impact on Alfesca's results.
