On April 17, 2008, Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Limited, London,
UK has informed us according to article 21, para 1 WpHG that its voting
rights in Allianz SE, München, Germany have exceeded the 3% threshold on
April 9, 2008 and now amount to 3.17% (14325117 shares).
These voting rights are attributed to Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings
Limited pursuant to article 22, para 1, sentence 1 No. 6 WpHG in connection
with §22 para 1 sentence 2 WpHG.
