Fidelity International notified us of the following on April 17, 2008:

The percentage of voting rights held by Fidelity Investments International,
Hildenborough, England, in GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, Bochum, exceeded
the three percent threshold on April 15, 2008 and now amounts to 3,03
percent (5.583.787 shares). These voting rights are attributable to
Fidelity Investments International pursuant to section 22 sent. 1 no. 6
WpHG.
