Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On April 21, 2008 , Allianz SE, München, Deutschland has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that its Voting Rights on
Bayer Aktiengesellschaft, Leverkusen, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0005752000, WKN:
575200, have exceeded the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on April 17, 2008 
and now amount to 3.32% (this corresponds to 25377986 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.31% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 25287579 Voting Rights) and
according to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 0.01% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 90407 Voting Rights) are to be
attributed to the company.
Besides, the Voting Rights of  Allianz Deutschland AG, Munich, Germany,
whose Voting Rights amounts to 3% or more, are to be attributed to the
company.
On April 21, 2008 , Allianz Deutschland AG, München, Deutschland has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that its Voting
Rights on Bayer Aktiengesellschaft, Leverkusen, Deutschland, ISIN:
DE0005752000, WKN: 575200, have exceeded the 3% limit of the Voting Rights
on April 17, 2008 and now amount to 3.12% (this corresponds to 23811248
Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.12% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 23811248 Voting Rights) are to be
attributed to the company.
