NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - April 24, 2008) - Joined by hundreds of fans and friends,
Southampton native and international pop star Samantha Cole, who is also
the co-founder of Hampton Angels, hosted a party to celebrate the release
of her latest single, "Angel of Mine" on the Dauman Music/Universal Records
label. Among the hundreds joining Ms. Cole at one of New York City's
premier nightspots, Room Service in the Flatiron district was Kid Rock who
stopped by to offer his support and share in this special moment with the
entertainer known as "Superwoman." The infamous DJ D-Nice was also on hand
to spin dance tunes and club mixes for the crowd celebrating Cole's' latest
single, which has just started to receive airplay on radio stations across
the country. An extended club mix of "Angel of Mine" is currently being
produced in the studio for wide distribution and Cole is scheduled to
release a complete album in the near future.
"I'm very excited about the release of "Angel of Mine" and with the early
feedback we're receiving from radio stations playing the track," said Cole.
"I know my fans will enjoy the club mix we're working on in the studio as
well as the upcoming album that features more exciting dance music," Cole
added. In addition to her busy recording schedule and personal
appearances, Cole is continuing to work with Maury Povich on co-hosting
segments of his popular television show.
