What: Robert Evans, President and CEO of Churchill Downs Incorporated (CHDN), will ring the NASDAQ opening bell remotely from Churchill Downs Racetrack on Friday, April 25th at 9:30 a.m. (EDT). With 21 NASDAQ listed companies from Kentucky and 11 from Louisville, this event will kick off Kentucky Derby Week. This is the second time NASDAQ has conducted a live remote bell ceremony from Churchill Downs Racetrack to celebrate the Kentucky Derby. The ceremony will be broadcast live on the NASDAQ seven story high Tower in Times Square and via satellite to national and international media. The Opening Bell is a ceremonial event that represents NASDAQ's virtual market model. As a result, NASDAQ can be opened from any location bringing together investors and market participants from around the world to mark the beginning of the trading day.
