Home BancShares, Inc. Announces 57.1 Percent Increase in Second Quarter Dividend


CONWAY, Ark., April 24, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Home BancShares, Inc. (Nasdaq:HOMB) Board of Directors declared a regular $0.055 per share quarterly cash dividend payable June 4, 2008, to shareholders of record May 14, 2008. This dividend represents a $0.02 per share, or 57.1%, increase over the dividend paid during the second quarter of the previous year and a $0.005 per share, or 10.0% increase over the dividend paid the previous quarter.

Home BancShares, Inc. is a financial holding company, headquartered in Conway, Arkansas, with six wholly owned bank subsidiaries that provide a broad range of commercial and retail banking and related financial services to businesses, real estate developers and investors, individuals and municipalities.
