VINX Index Information (Benchmark): Distribution of shares in Landsbanki Íslands is treated as an ordinary dividend in the OMXI15 indexes (16/08)

At the AGM of Landsbanki Íslands hf. (LAIS) it was agreed to reduce the bank’s share capital by ISK 300.000.000 nominal value by cancelling treasury shares held by Landsbanki Íslands hf. in this amount. It was also agreed to issue bonus shares of ISK 300.000.000 nominal value. The total share capital will thus remain unchanged. 

The exchange will treat the aforementioned changes in LAIS as an ordinary dividend, in accordance with rule 3.4 in the “Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the OMXI15 Equity Index”.
