Bakkavör Group has taken the precautionary step of recalling two of its houmous products after routine testing found the presence of salmonella. Food safety is the Group's first priority and this is a small, voluntary recall. Tests have not found salmonella present in any other of the Group's houmous products and ongoing supplies have been unaffected. Bakkavör Group is the largest producer of fresh prepared foods in the UK, producing over 6,000 products every day. The company has operations in 9 countries and over 20,000 employees.
