David Brodetsky appointed as new President and CEO for Lindab Group as of 1 October 2008

The current President and CEO Kjell Åkesson has informed the Board of
Directors of Lindab that he wishes to make use of his contractual
right to retire in connection with his 60th birthday in the beginning
of next year.

He will be replaced by the current manager of Lindab Building
Systems, David Brodetsky, who also is a member of the Group
Management Team. David Brodetsky, who is 52 years old, was President
for Astron Building Systems which Lindab acquired in 2005 and he is
since then responsible for Lindab's Building Systems Division.

Svend Holst-Nielsen, Lindab's chairman of the Board of Directors,
comments the change on the managerial post:"Kjell Åkesson has, in a very impressive manner, contributed to the
company's strong growth and successful international development both
marketwise and financial. By his big commitment and ability to lead
he has also contributed to the strengthening of Lindab's brand both
on the industrial and capital markets."

The Board of Directors wishes to express a great thanks to Kjell
Åkesson for his many considerable achievements during his almost 6
years as CEO for the Lindab Group.

At the same time as we regret Kjell Åkesson's wish to make use of his
60-year clause of his agreement, is it with great pleasure and strong
confidence that we hand over the responsibilities of the Lindab Group
management to David Brodetsky. David Brodetsky has great experience
of the Lindab Group and has shown prominent qualities of leadership
within his current area of responsibility, which has had a very
strong expansion and an excellent economic result.  David Brodetsky
has furthermore been responsible for several Groupwide projects. He
has a broad international experience from managerial posts not only
in Western and Eastern Europe but also in North and South America.

The Board of Directors wishes David Brodetsky all the best to carry
out the continued ambitious plans for developing the Group's
operations within the framework of Lindab's business idea and
strategic direction.
