On April 28, 2008, Capital World Growth and Income Fund, Los Angeles, USA,
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the German Securities
Trading Act (WpHG) that its voting rights in RWE Aktiengesellschaft, Essen,
fell below the threshold of 3 % on April 22, 2008. On that date, Capital
World Growth and Income Fund held 2.964 % in relation to all voting rights
in RWE Aktiengesellschaft (voting rights arising from 15,512,600 ordinary
shares (Stammaktien)).
