Vienna – April 30, 2008. Plaut Aktiengesellschaft, which is listed on the
General Standard segment of Frankfurt Stock Exchange (PUT2; ISIN:
AT0000A02Z18; securities identification number: A0LCDP) is hereby providing
notification of its consolidated results for the 1st quarter of fiscal
2008.
Following a highly successful 4th quarter of 2007, the Plaut Consulting
Group was able to increase sales further to 6.4 million Euro in the first
quarter of 2008, a rise of around 5% year-on-year. EBIT (earnings before
interest and taxes) in the first quarter of 2008 are some 0.3 million Euro,

Very good order books.
Plaut had an above-average level of new orders. At March 31, 2008 order
books currently total 13,000 days or capacity utilization for around 7
months. Crucial factors in this were sales successes at a number of
well-known companies such as Nordmilch AG, Hirschvogel Umformtechnik GmbH,
Triumph International AG, Mainova AG, Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH, DMB
Rechtsschutz Versicherungs AG, Bernecker & Rainer Industrie-Elektronik
GmbH, Agrana Beteiligungs AG, Rauch Fruchtsaefte GmbH, Asirom Asigurarea
Romaneasca S.A., Compensa TU S.A und der Lorenz Bahlsen Snack World Sp. z
o.o.. The related projects comprise our main competencies in the areas of
internal accounting, controlling, IFRS implementation, validity, process
optimization, business intelligence as well as the implementation of IT
applications and solutions for IT governance.

International focus is an important success factor.
In the 1st quarter of 2008, the company pushed ahead with its
internationalization and so stuck unswervingly to the objectives of its
strategy. Since the beginning of 2008, the Plaut Consulting Group is now
represented with 10 companies in a total of 6 countries along with the
recently founded acctus Consulting Polska and B&a Insurance Consulting
s.r.o. . Plaut has numerous network partners worldwide and is regarded on
the market as a very aspiring and innovative company.
