Police Use TASER Device to Disarm Suspect

According to a report in the April 30, 2008 edition of the BBC News from England, police were called to a domestic incident with reports of a man using a 12-inch shard as a weapon. After the man fled from the scene, officers were given permission to use a TASER(r) Electronic Control Device.
