Frankfurt/Main, May 5, 2008: The Executive Board of euromicron AG decided
today, May 5, 2008, to conduct a share buyback program on the basis of the
au-thorization granted by the General Meeting on June 20, 2007.

The continued fine performance and high earnings power of euromicron AG and
the companys ability to generate sustained and high cash flows mean that
this share buyback can be conducted to bolster the current growth-oriented
buy and build strategy. In this regard, the shares to be bought back can be
used to under-pin the growth strategy and, if necessary, as an acquisition
currency.

The shares will be bought back on the stock market in the period between
May 6, 2008, and September 30, 2008. The buyback program will affect a
maximum of 5% of the capital stock (233,000 shares). The authorization
stipulates that the pur-chase price per share must not be more than 10%
above or below the applicable stock market price.

The shares will be bought back with the assistance of a bank. The bank is
to de-cide when to buy back shares independently and without any influence
from eu-romicron AG.

The company will disclose the number of shares it has acquired every week
on its Website (www.euromicron.de).
