One Seeks Justice While the Other Seeks Revenge -- New Book Tells a Fascinating Murder Story That Involves a Detective and a Cat

OCEANSIDE, N.Y., May 13, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- A murder sparks two different paths to redemption for a cat and a detective. The stakes are high and the odds are tremendous against one who seeks vengeance and the other who seeks justice. This is suspenseful story that awaits readers in Eyes of the Innocent, a new book authored by G.R.R. Restivo and released through Xlibris.

The story begins when a black cat named Caesar witnesses a murder of his masters and mother. Struck by the tragedy, he starts his quest for revenge on the killer. Meanwhile a police detective, Mark Gallo, tries to unravel the mystery behind the killings, which is somehow linked to Warner Hollander, the head of a global company and drug smugglers. As the story moves on, readers will witness the vast differences between the man and the animal, each of them dealing with their own demons. Caesar's trek leads to Europe, where Gallo is almost killed and Caesar saves him on the North Atlantic. A striking climax awaits readers.
