This is a reminder of the new expiry day for OMXS30 series. Please note that OMXS30 contracts with expiration in May 2008 will have expiry day May 16, 2008.
Previously the expiry day has been the fourth (4th) Friday in the expiry month, after the change the expiry day will be the third (3rd) Friday in the expiry month. During the transition period from fourth Friday expiry to third Friday expiry there will be no changes to outstanding series. The first third Friday expiry will be series expiring in May 2008, hereafter expiry will take place on the third (3rd) Friday in the expiry month except for expiries in January 2009 and 2010 where the expiry will take place on the forth (4th) Friday in the expiry month.
