Take An Immersive Journey Into Afghanistan -- New Book Looks Back At the Life and Times of a Man Who Loves His Country Deeply

WOODBRIDGE, Va., May 16, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Afghanistan is well known for its rich history and long lasting cultures. It is the land where Alexander The Great married a tribal lady to gain a son, the land which was later dominated by Islam and the land where countless battles were fought. For many reasons, author Ehsanullah Sherdil loves his country and seeks to unite his fellow Afghan people to gain freedom. A fascinating look back at his country and his life is all set to begin with the release of the new book The Story of My Life.

The Story of My Life introduces readers to an interesting cast of characters who are restless in their own country because of political turmoil. Witness how some people have ended the lives of the innocents, the young ones, and the poor, for the sake of domination and rule. This book also takes an in-depth look at Afghan culture and carefully analyzes why political and social conflicts continue to hamper the lives of the people in an unrelenting fashion. Through Sherdil's viewpoint, readers will gain a clear understanding of what Afghanistan really is like and why its people deserve better.
