Mekonomen to initiate cooperation with AVIS and Relacom

Mekonomen is to initiate cooperation comprising service, repairs and accessories
with AVIS and Relacom. The goal is that these partnerships will in time comprise
a total of approximately 8,000 vehicles in Sweden.

Mekonomen is expanding its efforts towards the corporate market with the
establishment of a new business area, Meknomen Fleet. Staffan Lindewald will be
responsible for Mekonomen Fleet. Staffan Lindewald is 35 years old and is
presently managing director for GoGreen. 

“We are now entering the next phase in Mekonomen's investment in the corporate
market, through the establishment of a new business area, Mekonomen Fleet. AVIS,
and Relacom place major demands on high availability and quality, which is in
line with Mekonomen and Mekonomen Service Centres,” says Håkan Lundstedt,
President and CEO of Mekonomen AB. 

“AVIS has a great need for high availability and quality in terms of service and
repairs of our rental vehicles. The agreement with Mekonomen and Mekonomen
Service Centres meets our high demands,” says Lars Mörling, Fleet Manager at
AVIS.
