SAXESS release 5.0.1, is scheduled for production launch on September 29th, 2008.
This new release will add increased performance including ultra low latency for both transaction insert and market data (full round trip), as well as new functionality.
Included in the new release are new versions of our front-end, SAXESS Trade and the SAXESS Trade API. However, the new release does not include changes to the XTP protocol, although the documentation will be updated to reflect new functionality. Thus, it will not be mandatory to re-certify applications that have previously been approved for SAXESS 5.0.0.
Upgrading to the new version of SAXESS Trade/SAXESS Trade API will not be mandatory, although highly recommended.
