Credit Suisse Group, 8070 Zürich, Switzerland - in accordance with § 21
para. 1 and § 24 WpHG - notified us on it's own behalf and on behalf of the
companies hereinafter mentioned of the following:

1. The share of voting rights of Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited,
London, England, in DEUTSCHE BÖRSE AG has exceeded the 3% threshold on
13.05.2008 and amounted to 3.230% (6.298.205 voting rights) on this day.

2. Through the above reported exceeding of the 3% threshold by Credit
Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited we also inform you that the share of
voting rights of the affiliates Credit Suisse (International) Holding AG,
6300 Zug, Switzerland, Credit Suisse Investments (UK), London, England, and
Credit Suisse Investment Holdings (UK), London, England, in DEUTSCHE BÖRSE
AG has exceeded the 3% threshold on 13.05.2008 and amounted to 3.230%
(6.298.205 voting rights) on this day. This share of voting rights is fully
attributable to the companies mentioned in this paragraph according to § 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
3. For the sake of completness, we are informing that the share of voting
rights of Credit Suisse, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland, in DEUTSCHE BÖRSE AG
also exceeded the 3% threshold on 13.05.2008 and amounted to 3.399%
(6'628'013 voting rights) on this day. The attribution of voting rights in
the amount of 3.397% (6'624'013 voting rights) resulted from § 22 para. 1
sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG and the attribution of voting rights in the amount of
0.002% (4'000 voting rights) according § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in
connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG.
4. Furthermore we want to inform you for the sake of completness that the
share of voting rights of Credit Suisse Group, 8001 Zürich, Switzerland, in
DEUTSCHE BÖRSE AG exceeded the 3% threshold on 13.05.2008 and amounted to
3.407% (6'644'163 voting rights) on this day. The attribution of voting
rights in the amount of 3.398% (6'626'663 voting rights) results from §22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG and the attribution of voting rights in the
amount of 0.009% (17'500 voting rights) according to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1
no. 6 in connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG.
5. The chain of controlling companies is as follows (starting with the
first-line company): Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Ltd., Credit Suisse
Investment Holdings (UK), Credit Suisse Investments (UK), Credit Suisse
(International) Holding AG, Credit Suisse und Credit Suisse Group.
