Hamilton, Bermuda, pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On 14th May 2008 FIL Limited fell below the threshold of 5 % of the voting
rights in Fresenius SE, Else-Kröner-Straße 1, 61352 Bad Homburg v.d.H.,
Germany. On that date, FIL Limited held 4.94 % of the voting rights in
Fresenius SE arising from 3,838,097 voting rights.

All voting rights in Fresenius SE were attributed to FIL Limited pursuant
to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.

Furthermore, Fidelity International, with its registered office in Great
Britain, Tadworth, has notified us in the name of and on behalf of Fidelity
Investment Management Limited, Hildenborough, Kent, England, UK, pursuant
to section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On 14th May 2008 Fidelity Investment Management Limited fell below the
threshold of 5 % of the voting rights in Fresenius SE, Else-Kröner-Straße
1, 61352 Bad Homburg v.d.H., Germany. On that date, Fidelity Investment
Management Limited held 4.94 % of the voting rights in Fresenius SE arising
from 3,838,097 voting rights.

All voting rights in Fresenius SE were attributed to Fidelity Investment
Management Limited pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG in
connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

Furthermore, Fidelity International, with its registered office in Great
Britain, Tadworth, has notified us in the name of and on behalf of Fidelity
Investments International, Hildenborough, Kent, England, UK, pursuant to
section 21 (1) WpHG of the following:

On 14th May 2008 Fidelity Investments International fell below the
threshold of 5 % of the voting rights in Fresenius SE, Else-Kröner-Straße
1, 61352 Bad Homburg v.d.H., Germany. On that date, Fidelity Investments
International held 4.93 % of the voting rights in Fresenius SE arising from
3,823,627 voting rights.

All voting rights in Fresenius SE were attributed to Fidelity Investments
International pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
