On 26 May 2008 AS Eesti Ehitus, AS Aspi (a wholly owned subsidiary of AS Eesti Ehitus) and EA Reng as joint bidders and Estonian Road Administration signed an agreement for the design and construction works on Tallinn-Tartu motorway Mäo bypass. The new Mäo bypass is 6,4 kilometers long. The contract value is EEK 402,881,441 (EUR 25,748,817) excluding VAT 18%. The estimated commencement and finishing of the construction works are 01 June 2008 and 31 August 2010 respectively. Eesti Ehitus is a group of construction companies whose core business is general contracting and construction management in the construction of buildings and structures in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine. In addition, in Estonia our companies act as independent contractors in road construction and maintenance, environmental engineering, the assembly of reinforced concrete elements, and the performance of cast-on-site concrete works.
