Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On May 26, 2008 , UBS AG, Zürich, Schweiz has informed us according to
Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on
SolarWorld AG, Bonn, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0005108401, WKN: 510840, have
fallen below the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on May 20, 2008  and now
amount to 1.92% (this corresponds to 2143325 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 0.48% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 538805 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
