SEATTLE and DALLAS, June 2, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- As part of the association's Executive Education Program, IASA is pleased to announce the launch of a new standalone executive education event, called the Executive EDGE Conference, to be held December 7-9 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.
It is critical for executives to be well-informed and well-connected in order to face the challenges of the competitive insurance industry. That is why IASA originally created the Executive Education Program (EEP) a few years ago to support the unique education and networking needs of senior executives in the insurance industry. With several EEP events now established and growing rapidly, IASA is expanding the program's offerings by adding the Executive EDGE event.
The Executive EDGE, or Education Dedicated to Growth and Excellence, reflects IASA's long-standing dedication to education, but delivers educational benefits to executives in a fashion that is new and unique for the association. This exclusive event will feature high-profile keynotes, including a presentation by Insurance Information Institute President Robert Hartwig. Executive attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in specific breakout sessions for Chief Information Officers, Chief Financial Officers and Chief Investment Officers.
The interactive and flexible format of the breakout sessions will allow attendees to control the topics discussed during the event. For each area of responsibility, a distinguished group of panelists and an expert facilitator will lead these interactive discussion sessions. Additionally, IASA will offer a sponsored golf outing for interested attendees and a personal wealth building seminar.
IASA's Executive Education Program was designed to fill the need of high-level insurance industry executives for peer-to-peer education and networking opportunities.
