Allianz Global Investors Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt/M.
(Germany), has informed us pursuant to § 21 sec. 1 WpHG (German Securities
Trading Act) that on May 30, 2008 their share in SKW Stahl-Metallurgie
Holding AG, Unterneukirchen (Germany), exceeded the 3% threshold and
effective that day, amounts to 3.05% of the total voting rights
(corresponding to 135,018 of a total of 4,422,250 voting rights).

Thereof, 2.02% (89.361 shares) are attributable to Allianz Global Investors
Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt/M. (Germany), pursuant to § 22
sec. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG (German Securities Trading Act).
