New Products at Worlds Largest Solar Fair Intersolar
For SolarWorld AG the sustainable further development of solar power
technology is one of the basic premises of its business. This is also
demonstrated by the worlds leading solar technology provider at the
worlds largest solar technology exhibition Intersolar which will take
place in Munich from 12 to 14 June 2008. Efficiency improvements,
technological optimizations and increased user friendliness are at the
focus of the product innovations presented by SolarWorld AG.
Efficiency, Technology and User Friendliness
The SolarWorld AG engineers have designed the innovative flat roof assembly
system Suntub® for the installation of photovoltaic modules on flat roofs.
The systems can be installed without interfering with the sensitive skin of
the roof and receive their stability from being weighed down by walkway
slabs or gravel and by way of a simple connection among each other. The
optimally arched shape of the Suntub® additionally creates the necessary
space for the best possible ventilation of the solar modules.
With the new, elegantly designed visual display Suntrol® SolarWorld AG is
banking on technology, design and user friendliness. The Suntrol® gives
solar power plant operators a precise overview of the yield of their solar
plants at all times. The display permanently shows the current power
output, total output as well as the CO2 savings of the solar plant. In this
way the sustainable benefit of the solar power unit will immediately become
clear to every observer.
The product innovations also include the Suntrac® tracking system designed
for large-scale open air installations that automatically orients itself
towards the sun. The astronomic tracking with optional sensor support makes
sure that the angle of incidence of the sunlight remains constant
throughout the day. The SolarWorld Suntrac® system is also capable of using
diffuse light incidence. The efficient Suntracs® increase the solar power
yield by 35 per cent in comparison with immobile systems.
The SolarWorld Group will present itself in a new design on the occasion of
its appearance at the Munich fair. With an exhibition space of 270 square
meters its presence is larger than ever before.
