Gigya Releases New Wildfire Feature for Importing Webmail Contacts to Boost Viral Distribution of Widgets

Electronic Arts' The Sims(TM) On Stage Incorporates Gigya Wildfire Feature

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwire - June 11, 2008) - Gigya, the leading widget and social technologies company, today announced that it has added a new feature to its Wildfire technology, giving end-users the option of sharing widgets with selected contacts imported from major webmail providers including Gmail, Yahoo!, Hotmail and AOL. The feature simplifies the "email a friend" process for end-users, making it easier to share content with a broader network. Users can also opt-in to have Wildfire save their email distribution list for future widget-sharing.

Wildfire is the widget distribution technology of choice for more than 1000 advertisers and publishers, and is currently installing hundreds of thousands of widgets per day and tracking billions of widget impressions per month. Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) is already incorporating Wildfire in The Sims™ On Stage, an interactive online playground bringing together elements of performance, humor and community.

"The Sims On Stage is a large and enthusiastic community full of people who love to share their creative performances," said Ranah Edelin, Vice President, The Sims Label Internet Group. "Integrating Wildfire's powerful tools for distributing content gives our users the ability to take The Sims On Stage experience to wherever they spend time socially on the Web. With this new 'email a friend' feature, end-users can easily share their performances from The Sims On Stage with others on the Web, helping to expand and deepen their community relationships."

"Address books, which are social graphs, are one of the most under-utilized opportunities to build value for users," said Eyal Magen, Gigya's CEO. "By incorporating this feature into our free Wildfire technology, Gigya is now bringing this enormous opportunity to our publishers. Not only does it add another powerful and completely opt-in method for expanding the footprint of publisher content, but the email invitation also drives additional traffic to publisher websites."
