One Room Schoolhouse in Jersey City -- A Whole New, Fun Learning Environment for First Graders

JERSEY CITY, N.J., June 17, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Classrooms should be a vibrant and lively space where one starts to dream, nurture and develop this dream, then make it a reality. Time spent in these learning situations should be fun and enjoyable. This is what passionate teacher-author Patricia Squires strongly believes. She lives this belief by being the dedicated teacher that she is -- bringing mastery, love, assertiveness, and creativity in every learning experience she gives to her class. One of these wonderful activities her First Graders truly enjoy is One Room Schoolhouse in Jersey City, where they portray Pilgrims and Native Americans.

Join Squires and her students as they learn about the Pilgrims and Native Americans by reliving the interesting lives of these people. This colorful picture book shows the many happy things and exciting activities they had as they brought life to history. They definitely had an enjoyable time working on the theme, "Colonial Times, Native Americans, and Pilgrims." Squires' class had a blast when they dressed, worked, played, and celebrated as the Colonists and Native Americans did -- and the many happy pictures of this book will prove it. From learning to portraying to understanding and craving for more, Squires has indeed nurtured a passion in her First Graders' hearts.

Squires knows how to value her students; that's why her students have learned so much and grown so well. This is what teaching is all about -- let each one bloom in their own way and reveal themselves in due time. Discover how wonderful classroom learning can be in One Room Schoolhouse in Jersey City.
