According to § 21 sec. 1 WpHG LAV Liewald Anlage- und Vermögensverwaltung
GmbH, Cologne, Germany, informed us that its rights to vote in our company
have overrun on June 2, 2008, the levels of 3 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and
25 % and have reached hence 29,95 % (2.372.045 voting rights).

Therefrom 29,95 % (2.372.045 voting rights) are attributed to LAV Liewald
Anlage- und Vermögensverwaltung GmbH according to § 22 sec. 1 sent. 1 no. 1
WpHG. Voting rights are attributed by the following shareholders having a
share of voting rights in Deutsche REIT AG of 3% or more:
-  DRB Beteiligungs GmbH & Co. KG
