Discover Prostitution's Effects On the Human Spirit -- New Book Tells the Story About the Hope We Have in Christ and the Difference God Makes in Our Lives

BEECHY, Saskatchewan, June 24, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Prostitution is more than just an old profession. It is also a source of evil, temptation and immorality, one that threatens the very values we live with. These are the themes that drive an engaging discussion by Tammy Wiens in her new book Where A Little Rain Comes Down, released through Xlibris.

Where A Little Rain Comes Down explores the effect of prostitution, whether physical or spiritual in nature, on the human spirit. It tells a story about the hope we have in Christ and the difference God makes in our lives. It emphasizes that love can be sought after in both a right and a wrong way. One way, it produces death to our beings but when part of a healthy relationship creates a new vibrancy to life. From the first page until the end, this book will keep you thinking deeply about moral values and why prostitution is essentially evil.

Where A Little Rain Comes Down will be featured at this year's New York Library Association show in Saratoga Springs, New York. To order a copy, feel free to visit your local bookstore or call Xlibris at (888) 795-4274 today.

About the Author

I started writing five years ago as a means of teaching my children. Using word pictures that demonstrated faith in action seemed to be a good way to relate to them. Over time, my children grew as did the length and maturity level of the themes of the stories. This story grew out of my own life experiences. Living in a farming community in Saskatchewan, Canada, the events in this story may seem worlds away but even here, sin has worked its way into life. We need Jesus Christ to find forgiveness and hope.
