STOCKMANN plc Company Announcement 26.6.2008 at 9.45 STOCKMANN plc: EXERCISE OF LOYAL CUSTOMER SHARE OPTIONS During the share subscription period from May 2, 2008, to May 31, 2008, a total of 364 Stockmann plc Series B shares with a par value of EUR 2.00 were subscribed for as a result of an exercise of its Loyal Customer share options. The corresponding increase in the Company's share capital was EUR 728. As a result of the increase, Stockmann plc's share capital now totals EUR 112,187,952 and the total number of Series B shares in issue is 31,529,733. The shares were registered in the Trade Register on June 26, 2008, and they become subject to trade on the share list of OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki together with the old shares on June 27, 2008. In the spring 2008, a total of 1,373,846 Stockmann plc's Loyal Customer share options were subscribed. As a result of the exercise of the Loyal Customer share options not yet exercised, a total of 1,373,482 Series B shares with a par value of EUR 2 can be subscribed, deviating from the subscription right of the shareholders. The corresponding increase in the Company's share capital can amount to EUR 2,746,964 at the most. The subscription price is EUR 33.35 less the amount of dividend per share after the end of the determination period (1 February - 28 February 2006). This year the subscription price was EUR 29,60. The future subscription periods for shares with the Loyal Customer share options are May 4 - May 31, 2009 and May 2 - May 31, 2010.
