Access Plans USA, Inc. and DenteMax Announce Partnership Agreement; Access Plans To Utilize DenteMax National Dental Network to Enhance Programs

IRVING, Texas, June 27, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Access Plans USA, Inc. (Nasdaq:AUSA) and DenteMax have announced a partnership agreement in which Access Plans can utilize the DenteMax national dental network to enhance its own Access Dental network in certain of the company's discount and supplemental healthcare plans.

Access Plans USA is a nationwide distributor of health insurance and non-insurance healthcare programs that provide access to affordable healthcare for families and individuals in the United States, including the growing number of uninsured and/or underinsured. DenteMax is a dental network manager with more than 81,000 dental access points across the nation.

"We are aggressively marketing our portfolio of medical discount and supplemental plans nationwide, including a number of new products. This partnership will allow Access Plans to enhance the dental network strength of selected products by combining our own proprietary dental network, Access Dental, with the DenteMax network," said Ian R. Stuart, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Access Plans USA. "In providing the best for our customers, two networks are stronger than one. We selected DenteMax to partner with not only because of the size and national scope of the network, but also because of the attention to quality and the credentialing program."

DenteMax requires all dentists to complete and pass credentialing before being admitted to the network, and dentists are recredentialed every three years to maintain this level of quality.

All DenteMax dentists agree to charge members using a fixed fee schedule that is typically 25-40% below their usual charges. This provides savings for these members every time they visit their DenteMax dentist.
