The Supervisory Board of Port of Tallinn approved the main directions of company strategy until 2015


On the meeting of 16th of June 2008, the Supervisory Board of Port of Tallinn   
approved the main directions of company strategy until 2015.                    

The main objective of updating Port of Tallinn strategy was to ensure           
sustainable growth of the company in the changed economic environment, making   
use of the possibilities emerging in transit cargo mediation market, at the same
time balancing related risks through preserving the income of passenger         
servicing sphere with a lower risk level and aggressive increase of space       
appraisement sphere.                                                            

According to the approved strategy in the future Port of Tallinn will           
increasingly focuses its activity on container cargo servicing for both the     
transit as well as the domestic market shaping Port of Tallinn into a regional  
container center with the handling capacity of first up to 1.2 million TEU per  
year.                                                                           

The company views increasing of the handling capacity of new cars to 300 000    
units per year as another important direction.                                  

In addition to increased use of existing port capacities, the strategy document 
+372foresees developing of Muuga and Paldiski South Harbour industrial parks 
preferring companies transporting cargo through the port and engaging in        
appraisement of cargo as clients and focused developing of Old City Harbour real
estate, where the main focus is set on creating an attractive entertainment and 
commercial environment for passengers.                                          

The strategy is subject to periodic review and updating in accordance with      
changes occurring in the operating environment. The strategy serves as a basis  
for the preparing of detailed activity plans and business plans for the         
achieving of the objectives established in it and planning of necessary risk    
management related activities arising from the planned activities.
